we spent all of June complaining how it rained too much and was too cold, and now mother nature is getting her revenge. We survived a very hot week, Wednesday took the prize with a 37C high - it was already 28 by the time I dropped the boys off at 8 in the morning. I went to soccer practice at lunch time anyway, we all just kind of jogged around in slow motion listening to our skin sizzle.
the heat doesn't seem to bother Ollie and Sam at all. Once in a while Ollie complains that his hair is too hot, but he won't let us cut it either. We keep explaining that it would be cooler with it short, but he seems to prefer it long. It's getting curly and quite blond, he is starting to remind me of David (back when David was blond and cute).
