I guess sleeping through the night was not all it was cracked up to be, from Ollie's point of view. We had a good month of it, then for the past week and a half he decided it was more fun to be up 2 or 3 times a night again. Hopefully this is just because of the new tooth and he will resume the longer sleeps again soon. Until the next new tooth and so on, ad nauseum, for the next 10 years or so.
Didn't get much of a chance to update this all week as Ade was away, and as we had a lot of activities. Tuesday we went to 'movies for mommies' for the first time with some of the other playgroup babies and mums. He quite enthusiastically watched the first half of the movie, and then squirmed through the second half, not too bad really. Lots of other babies were fussing so it was no big deal, the sound is loud enough so that you can still hear the movie over the crying. Wednesday was playgroup and then he got his 4 month shots; he didn't scream quite as much as last time, but he was still quite upset by the time the doctor gave him the third shot. He is 75th percentile for weight, but 90th for length and head circumference. Otherwise hale and hearty. He is growing out of all his nice 3-6 month outfits lengthwise, I had to get out the 6-9 month stuff into which you could probably fit two of him side by side. He is even growing out of his bathtub, though we bought the biggest one they make.
Thursday was musical playgroup, with lots of singing of songs and banging on drums and rattles, fun for babies and mums. And friday we rested, and Ade finally came home. Ollie was so excited to see him that he shrieked and then would not go to sleep for ages.
