We just cannot feed this kid enough. He has gone from 3 meals a day plus a snack in the morning and afternoon to 3 meals a day plus pretty much eating non-stop in between. I'm running out of interesting things to feed him. He is completely weaned and we are now working on gradually switching from formula to whole milk.
He is taking great pleasure in practising taking steps on his own - when he is moving along the sofa he will lift up his hands for a minute and try a step without support. He has gone up to 3 consecutive steps when walking towards us - we haven't caught that on video yet but will try to put something up soon.
Also, I hate to write about this for fear of jinxing it, but he has slept right through the night for 3 nights in a row now. The only issue is that he thinks 5:45 is a fine time to be up for the day, even though he is still a little tired he won't go back to sleep. That's OK I guess, I'm used to going to sleep at 9:30 now.
It's pouring again.
