Sam is 10 weeks old as of Sunday, and had to go for his 2 month shots on the 29th. They insist on 4 now, poor bugger, he put up with it pretty well. There was a great deal of crying but not as loud as the baby that went before him. He weighs a whopping 14.3 lbs, that's the 95th percentile for his age. His length (guess it's not height until you can stand) is also 90th percentile. Ollie was always on the big side though too, and then gradually shrank down to average. Sam is gurging alot, funnily his gurgles are exactly the same as Ollie's were: aigle, agle, and what Adrian insists is 'ugly guy'. Smiling tons, and enjoying batting at toys, sleeping so-so, but at least we are all sleeping in our own beds now.
Ollie is talking up a storm, spends the whole day repeating everything you say. Its kind of funny when you tell him something like 'say thank you, darling' and he says 'thank you darling'. He has taken to putting the preposition 'a' in front of a lot of nouns which makes him sound very Italian (e.g 'that's a mama'). Longest sentence yet: 6 words 'mama said don't chase the cat'.
Ollie spent Christmas eve upchucking, I spent christmas eve mopping up after him. He then kindly passed it on to Sam and me. We got over it pretty quickly, thank goodness, and now we are on to another cold. This must be the 3rd one I've had since Sam was born.
