Too busy to blog over the weekend as we resumed our thanksgiving tradition of cooking a double meal for local friends - turkey and stuffing and gravy for meat lovers and the same again but vegetarian. It was all yummy and Ollie really loved the pumpkin pie - he had three slices.
Sam is a superstar - he had two full bottles yesterday (including one at bedtime because mum was too sauced to nurse), and one this morning. He puts up a bit of a fight over it, but if you just wait a couple of minutes and give it to him again he quite happily finishes the whole thing, no messing around with it or using it as a teething toy like before, he even cries when you take the empty bottle away. It's about time! Also, this is his second week of no daytime nursing at all, he's just been getting some before bed and when he wakes pre-dawn so that he will go back to sleep and not wake Ollie. Now that the bottle is going better we can eliminate those too!
