I forgot to mention that along with the giggles he is also perfecting a spectacular pout, in true Kate-Nelson-eating-a-scallop fashion. When he is working up to getting upset, out comes the lower lip - it is really quite funny, odd that it is so instinctive and not learned.

It is going to be roasting here tomorrow, they are saying up to 30 degrees. Yuck. I have gotten so acclimatized to nice cool summers here, I don't know how I would cope if we ever moved back east.
