Apocalyptic

is the weather in BC this winter. The big bad wolf is definitely trying to blow us right off the map. I've lost count of the windstorms, but we're having the latest one this evening, apparently the trees in Stanley Park are snapping like matchsticks. I passed a couple of downed trees on my way home from work, while struggling to keep the car from blowing off the road. Torrential rain, mudslides, wind, snow ... I guess an earthquake must be next, followed by locusts. Well, they are forecasting more snow at the very least. Luckily we have power tonight, two blocks east of here and there is a total blackout for the next 10 blocks.
